The very first Cutee Couture flower was made for my daughter, Pippa - or Pippelippa, as I called her. I hand-stitched a gold petal flower and fastened it to her shoes - which I had painted gold and white, to look like Mary Janes with socks. It was our little way of turning ordinary sneakers into something magical.
When we traveled to America together for the first time, her shoes stole the show - especially among the Black community, who instantly noticed and loved the look.
That moment stayed with me. The flower sparked it all.
Each felt flower is still felt by me. Handmade, glue- free, non-toxic, and soft to the touch. Designed to delight - whether on hairclips, shoes, gifts, or pretend play.
